As Operations Delivery Project Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact commercial and operational projects across our diverse portfolio. Acting as a key link between Commercial, Technology and wider business teams, you’ll ensure that new systems, processes and initiatives are delivered effectively, on time and with clear communication to all stakeholders.
Alongside your broader project portfolio, you will also support elements of Global’s commercial AI programme. This will involve helping to track progress across relevant AI workstreams, maintaining clear and accurate documentation, and working with internal AI developers to ensure tools meet commercial requirements and land successfully with end users. AI delivery will form a part of your remit, complementing your wider focus on systems, process and operational improvement.
This maternity cover role requires exceptional project management capability, strong delivery focus and superb stakeholder management. You’ll identify opportunities for operational improvement, oversee implementation of system and process changes, and collaborate across the organisation to support Commercial Operations Delivery in driving business‑enhancing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Project & Delivery Leadership (50%)
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of commercial and operational projects, from scoping and planning through to launch, adoption and post‑implementation review.
- Act as the central coordinator ensuring timelines, dependencies and risks are managed effectively.
- Communicate project progress clearly and consistently across impacted teams.
- Work closely with Operations Delivery Managers to ensure resources and support are aligned to project priorities.
- Support and lead on project delivery of the commercial AI programme as part of your portfolio, including tracking workstream progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Systems Development & Process Improvement (15%)
- Identify requirements for systems integration, efficiency, and performance enhancements across the commercial landscape.
- Partner with Technology to ensure commercial needs are understood, prioritised, and delivered.
- Where relevant, work with internal AI developers to ensure commercial considerations are captured as AI‑driven tools or features are introduced.
- Support ongoing development and optimisation of commercial systems, processes and tools.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration (20%)
- Build a strong network across departments including Audio, Outdoor, DAX, Branded Content, Partnerships, Legal, and Technology.
- Facilitate effective cross‑functional communication, ensuring teams are prepared, engaged and supported throughout change programmes.
- Map stakeholders for each project and establish a clear communication and engagement plan for all key project streams including the Commercial AI programme.
- Reporting, Data & Dependencies (10%)
- Coordinate with Analytics and Data Warehousing teams to ensure reporting and data needs are captured, documented and prioritised.
- Assess downstream impacts of system or process changes, ensuring risks are mitigated and dependencies are clearly understood.
- Training, On‑Boarding & Change Adoption (5%)
- Design and deliver clear, engaging onboarding and training programmes for new systems and processes.
- Ensure business‑as‑usual teams have the support, materials and knowledge needed to embed new ways of working.
- There will be a key focus on supporting the introduction and adoption of AI tools where relevant, ensuring teams understand their purpose and value.

In your first few months, you’ll have:
- Built your professional network across the business within the Audio, DAX and Outdoor Commercial teams as well as Technology, Legal, Finance and Branded Content.
- Familiarised yourself with the range of commercial systems that the teams use, understand how they are connected and how current tech projects will enhance these systems.
- Identified and implemented a clear framework for communicating live projects and their status.
- Worked with Operations Delivery Managers to understand how they can best support you on live projects and new initiatives.
- Worked with the Commercial Operations Delivery team to create strategic roadmap for Commercial Operations Delivery.
- Defined realistic and measurable OKRs that align with the strategic priorities of the National Commercial team.
- Worked alongside other senior members of the Commercial Operations Delivery team to proactively identify new projects, initiatives or training needs to enhance our ways of working.
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
