Are you ready to join the UK's Number 1 Hit Music station? We're looking for an experienced Producer to join the world-class team at Capital and take creative ownership of high-profile network shows featuring some of the biggest names in radio.

You'll be the driving force behind Capital Drive with Will Manning and Capital Late Show with Sonny Jay - shaping the sound, crafting the content, and delivering the moments that millions of 15-34s talk about. This is your chance to work at the centre of one of the UK's most exciting brands, collaborating with presenting talent, digital teams, and music experts to create content that works across radio and Global Player.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Producer (20%): You’ll be plugged in to the wider Capital brand team and exposed to many exciting opportunities to grow and develop your career.
  • Network Show Producer (80%): Produce Capital Drive with Will Manning and Capital Late Show with Sonny Jay - owning the creative direction and delivering standout daily content.

This will include:

  • Handling the live studio environment for one of Capital's flagship network shows.
  • Mentoring, guiding and giving feedback to presenting talent during and after live broadcasts.
  • Delivering show briefs in line with broader Capital priorities and audience insights.
  • Producing, collating and distributing all relevant scripts and show planning documents daily.
  • Scripting and coordinating the delivery of high-quality Branded Content features.
  • Working closely with Capital's digital team to create content that drives engagement on Global Player.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Built great relationships and trust with your presenters and the wider Capital programming team.
  • Demonstrated a strong grasp of the audience and Capital’s content filter in day-to-day delivery.
  • Built a topical plan for the next few months for your shows.
  • Built a great collaborative relationship with Capital’s digital team and become instrumental in helping to drive our digital content strategy forward, especially on Global Player.
