Your Role: Music Programming Assistant
As a Music Programming Assistant at Global, you’ll help make sure our music‑led radio brands sound their best every day. You’ll support the Group Music Team to schedule, prepare and deliver accurate, consistent and compliant music output that reflects each brand’s strategy and audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Music scheduling & playout accuracy (40%): Support the creation, preparation and delivery of accurate music schedules across Global’s music‑led radio services, ensuring high standards of accuracy, consistency and compliance.
- GSelector & playlist management (35%): Use GSelector to manage music categories, clocks, rotations and playlists in line with agreed programming strategy, helping to optimise flow, variety and audience appeal.
- Cross-team coordination (15%): Work closely with music schedulers, programming and production teams to ensure music logs are delivered on time and any issues are identified and resolved quickly.
- Service development & improvement (10%): Help maintain database accuracy (metadata, coding, categories and rules) and contribute ideas to improve scheduling workflows, playlist flow and overall listener experience.
