We’re looking for a creative, social-first content producer at the start of their career to join the Capital Digital team. In this role, you will be working across our video-led content to grow audience engagement and reach across Capital's digital platforms, as well as working on The EE Official Big Top 40.

As a Junior Digital Content Producer at Global, you will take the best on-air moments, artist interviews, and chart highlights, and turn them into must-watch, must-share video content for Capital's millions of fans. You will be hands-on with the edit, obsessed with the hook, and always thinking about what makes someone stop scrolling.

This is a full-time role working Sun–Thurs:

  • Sunday: 11am–7:30pm
  • Monday - Thursday: 9-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation (50%): Help create audience-first content for Capital’s platforms, with a focus on developing long-form content ideas and turning them into impactful, and engaging social moments. Edit and publish social clips for our channels.
  • Talent Amplification (20%): Capture and amplify the best moments from Capital’s flagship shows and YouTube formats, including Capital Breakfast, Capital Evenings and The Official Big Top 40. Work closely with producers and presenters to plan and deliver content that connects with Capital’s young, pop-culture-loving audience.
  • Audience Growth & Engagement (30%): Use data and insights to refine content, focusing on Capital’s digital strategy: strong hooks, social-first storytelling, and starting with the most engaging moments. Experiment with formats to spark conversation and sharing.
