Your New Role
Are you an aspiring engineer, looking for your first steps into the fast-paced project environment of the outdoor advertising industry? We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic apprentice with a good level of Maths/Physics/Engineering or similar technical background, looking to forge a career in Assurance/Engineering. As an Assurance Engineering Apprentice at Global, you will be supported through a Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship under the mentorship of the Head of Engineering Assurance and will work alongside many experienced Senior Engineers, Project teams and Commercial teams both within Global and with our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Assurance & Documentation: Maintain tracking of project assurance records, registers and reports. Support of technical documentation reviews and auditing of review completion.
- Quality Control: Assist in the inspection and verification of installations and assurance documents. Audit of handover documents and assurance from supplier, installation partners and project teams.
- Document Management Auditing: Assist in maintaining overwatch of the document management of all project and product document management systems.

What You'll Need
- Engineering background: A keen, enthusiastic apprentice with a good level of Maths/Physics/Engineering or similar technical background, looking to forge a career in Assurance Engineering.
- Engineering comprehension: The ability to review documents and standards with the ability to understand how to identify and apply standards in a complex environment.
- Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, technical specifications, and data sets.
- Problem Solving: Applying diagnostic methods and root cause analysis to investigate engineering failures or process inefficiencies.
- Communication: Clearly presenting technical findings to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, often in writing or through presentations.
- Digital Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized engineering software for reporting and project management. CAD understanding would be advantageous.
- Flexibility & Positivity: A can-do attitude to manage different projects and deliver top results.
