Your Role:
Are you a dynamic sales professional? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your sales skills, creativity, interpersonal and organizational skills are equally valued, this role is for you. As a Head of Agency, Audio, you will be responsible for leading the team on all things audio. Fully responsible for revenue across Radio and DAX and expected to also drive revenue into partnerships, podcasts and video. You will nurture business relationships with senior personnel - business director and above with a specific focus on influencing the planning community as well as leading a high-performing sales team. From advising agencies and clients on a tailored data led Dax proposal to generating and delivering on multi-million pound big idea pitches no two days are the same.
As the Head of Agency, Audio at Global, you will:
- Key Responsibilities
- Management and Leadership (30%): Leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service whilst driving a positive team culture
- Stakeholder Management (10%): Work effectively with all key internal Global teams such as partnerships, podcasts, video, outdoor and many more to ensure a joined-up approach
- External presence (50%): Understand the key challenges that our customers face and ensure that your team are helping to provide solutions whilst developing influential relationships with senior stakeholders across your patch with a specific focus on the planning and digital community to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Forecasting accuracy (10%): Work closely with the audio trading team to ensure accurate forecasting and knowledge of the deal where appropriate

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you’ll have:
- Build a new agency facing team with clear roles and responsibilities
- Worked with the CAD and your peers to agree key measures of success for the business units for the financial year
- Support all individuals and ensure a supportive and open team culture
- Worked closely with respective head of agency in outdoor and partnerships to ensure levels of co-operation and communication are optimum
- Support the CAD in building team processes (i.e. key internal meetings, management of revenue targets and development of culture)
- Set out and fulfilled a contact plan of key agency stakeholders
- Help to motivate the teams in a difficult economy and support the commercial directors in key department initiatives to build a positive Global culture
- Working with the leadership team across your group to identify revenue growth opportunities and establish clear roles and responsibilities
