Your New Role: Digital Business Development Manager - DAX
Are you a dynamic sales professional? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your sales skills, creativity, interpersonal and organisational skills are equally valued, this role is for you. As a Digital Business Development Manager at Global, you will be a senior DAX sales resource for our customers and internal agency teams. This role will be specifically responsible for driving DAX revenue and supporting their respective agency team to strategically sell DAX.
As a Digital Business Development Manager at Global, you will:
- Key Responsibilities
- Build a clear business plan focused on driving incremental revenue and growth that docks into the wider Agency Team business plan; this will include specific sales support on Connected Audio clients.
- Be the face of DAX in your respective agency group and build influential digital relationships (e.g. Heads of Digital, Digital Strategists, Digital Planners, Digital Buyers, Heads of Programmatic) within the agencies alongside the Head of DAX Audio Sales, Commercial Agency Director & Head of Agency.
- Work with the Commercial DAX Director, Head of DAX Audio Sales across DAX Audio and Commercial Agency Director & Head of Agency in your internal team to identify long-term areas of learning and development across the team to support with strategic selling of DAX.
- Act as a consultant and collaborator to support the agency team on new product presentations, ideation and recommendations for response to briefs, handling advanced client questions, troubleshooting technical and strategic challenges and meeting with senior stakeholders at agencies where DAX is the main topic.
- Share digital expertise and knowledge from not only DAX but the wider digital industry.
- Act as the consultant between DAX and the agency teams to provide support on challenges and ensure you are actively training the team in the right processes to increase their self-sufficiency.

What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you'll have:
- The first 3-months of this role will be focused on working closely with the Head of DAX Audio Sales, Commercial Agency Director and Head of Agency (within your agency team) to understand the key areas of learning and development across the team, alongside developing a cohesive business plan to identify the key growth areas for DAX across the group within audio.
- As the DAX expert within your team, you will act as the consultant between the DAX Audio SLT team and your agency team, as well as providing support on specific DAX focused agency and client challenges within your agency team.
- You will own relationships with digital and programmatic teams within your agencies, representing DAX in market to key digital influencers across your agency group and presenting to relevant clients.
- You will play a critical role in the pitching of DAX, be that on specific pitches through to supporting your team in how we respond, and influence digital spend with our customers.
What You'll Need
- Experience of media planning and advertising, specifically the digital audio market. Ideally with 5+ years of audio digital experience and other media experience alongside this.
- Proactive and driven relationship-builder with a strong desire to take ownership of the process, actively seeking out and cultivating new connections with enthusiasm and persistence.
- An ability to inspire and excite about the capabilities of digital audio. With experience in teaching and leadership within this space.
- Be confident in the analysis of data.
