We’re now looking for a Safety Specialist to help us raise the bar on safety performance across international offshore wind projects and support the broader HSEQ team with a proactive, hands-on approach.

About the role

As Safety Specialist, you\’ll drive health and safety initiatives across global project sites, while ensuring compliance, supporting training programs, and leading safety campaigns that empower our teams in the field.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 andSafe System of Work (SSoW)
  • Identify and mitigate risks across projects and operations
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs and HSE campaigns
  • Lead and report on incident investigations
  • Promote behavior-based safety and continuous improvement
  • Conduct site visits to support HSE culture and campaign implementation
  • Collaborate with Project and Site Managers on safety performance
  • Support safety content development for operational teams
  • Provide expert input for GWS’s overall health and safety development strategy

You’re experienced, insightful, and committed to building a safety-first culture in an international setting. You thrive in high-responsibility roles and bring both strategic vision and practical execution to health and safety management

  • 10+ years of HSEQ experience (ideally in wind, oil & gas, manufacturing, or construction)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant safety field
  • Certified in NEBOSH/IOSH, internal auditing (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), GWO BST & BTT
  • Strong incident investigation and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Self-driven, fact-based, with strong ownership and teamwork mindset
  • Fully software literate and able to manage workload autonomously
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel globally
