- Monday – Friday office based – 8.30am – 5.30pm (1 hour lunch break).
Due to the recent acquisition of a media services company, we are seeking a Senior Audio Visual Project Manager to join our entrepreneurial and fast growing company.
The media services division works closely with Global Voices’ sales and operations team.
Responsibilities
- Planning, scheduling and monitoring multi-lingual subtitling and translation projects
- Sourcing and co-ordination of translators, subtitlers and voice-over artists
- Processing and QC checking of subtitle files
- Communication with clients, subtitlers and linguists
Who are we looking for?
A minimum of 2 years project management experience obtained working in the following sectors:
- Translation – managing multilingual projects
- Subtitling – as a subtitler or project manager in a multilingual environment
- Video production – in a scheduling or resource planning capacity
- A knowledge of subtitling workstations – Swift, Wincaps, etc
- An understanding of video platforms and encoding methods
