Looking for a better work-life balance? This standalone small animal practice is offering a rare Monday to Friday only role with no weekends, flexible hours, and genuine clinical freedom. GVC is assisting a well-established, community-focused small animal practice seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years’ experience to join their friendly and supportive team. There is also a clear development pathway into a Senior Vet position for someone keen to mentor junior colleagues and help shape the future of the practice.
The Role
- Small animal Veterinary Surgeon position
- Full or part-time considered
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends
- Flexible rota with a regular weekday off
- 1 in 3 early Friday finishes
- Dedicated admin and catch-up time built into the diary
- At least 1 surgery day per week
- Opportunity to progress into a Senior Vet role
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE

This is a well-equipped standalone practice with a loyal client base and varied caseload, predominantly cats and dogs. The team is passionate about providing high-quality care while maintaining a positive and supportive working environment. Facilities include:
