Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Small Animal Practice | North Hampshire/Surrey Border
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a permanent role within a modern, supportive independent practice? This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive multi-site small animal group in North Hampshire/Surrey border, offering a varied caseload, strong clinical support, and genuine work-life balance.
The Role
- Full-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon position
- Varied first-opinion caseload with both consulting and surgery
- Flexible rota with a mix of early and late finishes
- Shared weekend rota
- No out-of-hours or night duties
- Work alongside experienced RVNs, SVNs, and dedicated support staff
- Opportunities to develop clinical interests and pursue further qualifications
About the Practice
This independent veterinary group operates several modern, purpose-built practices across North Hampshire/Surrey border, with excellent transport links to London and the South Coast. Facilities include:
- CT scanner
- Digital and dental x-ray
- Ultrasound
- Endoscopy and gastroscopy equipment
- Fully equipped operating theatres
- In-house laboratory
- Separate dog and cat wards with isolation facilities
The wider clinical team includes certificate holders and vets with interests in:
- Surgery and orthopaedics
- Cardiology
- Dermatology
- Ophthalmology
- Diagnostic imaging
- Exotics and acupuncture
The practice is also committed to high clinical standards and feline-friendly care.
About You
You will be a RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with routine consultations and surgery. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, building strong client relationships, and developing your clinical skills within a supportive team environment. Vets with certificate ambitions or specific clinical interests are encouraged and supported.
