Registered Veterinary Nurse – Emergency & Critical Care | Full-Time Nights
State-of-the-Art Hospital | 24/7 A&E | 35.75 Hours per Week

The Role
This full-time role involves approximately 35.75 hours per week, primarily during night shifts. You’ll be part of a varied and dynamic team providing 24/7 A&E and inpatient care. Responsibilities include:
Night shifts: 9pm–8:30am (half-hour break), 10–13 nights per month
Rota: Currently 6 on / 7 off / 7 on / 8 off (flexible discussion possible)
Sole charge: 1am–7:30am with a vet on premises and an auxiliary nurse
Providing triage and patient care for A&E cases
Assisting veterinary surgeons with investigations and procedures
Supporting in-patients and advising clients via evening reception
Opportunities to cover annual leave or pick up additional shifts
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have 2+ years’ experience as an RVN in small animal practice
Have an interest in medicine and ECC, with potential to pursue further qualifications
Be confident in decision-making and able to work independently during busy periods
Demonstrate a passion for supporting colleagues and constructive communication

Salary £26,000–£32,000, dependent on experience and nights worked
