An opportunity is available for an experienced National Key Account Manager to take ownership of key veterinary customer groups across the UK. This is a full-time, field-based role with national responsibility, focused on driving sustainable commercial growth while building long-term strategic partnerships. Regular travel to a Greater Manchester based office will be required, as well as travel across different UK Regions.
The position centres on developing and delivering robust national account strategies that improve sales performance, margin, and customer engagement. Reporting into senior sales leadership, the role plays a key part in shaping commercial direction across multi-site veterinary groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing national and multi-site veterinary accounts across the UK
- Developing and executing national account plans aligned to wider business strategy
- Leading Quarterly Business Reviews with senior customer stakeholders
- Using data and insight to identify opportunities, mitigate risk, and influence future strategy
- Collaborating closely with regional field sales teams to ensure national plans translate into effective local execution
- Contributing to pricing strategy, contracting, and commercial governance
- Maintaining strong presence with head office contacts and commercially significant clinics nationwide
The Ideal Candidate
This role will suit a commercially astute and strategically minded Key Account professional with proven experience managing national or complex customer accounts. You will bring:
- Demonstrable experience in national or multi-site account management
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive informed decisions
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders, including head office and clinical leadership teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience within the veterinary, healthcare, or a closely related sector (highly desirable)
- Advanced CRM and analytical capability
Location UK-wide, field-based role with national travel

- Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 base
