I am working with a Veterinary practice in East London who is looking for a Team Leader!
- 37.5 hours a week
- 4 day working week if desired
- Up to £70,000k DOE

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for clinical governance within the hospital while leading the Veterinary Surgeon team to provide an efficient, professional and compassionate service to pets and their owners. This opportunity would suit an experienced vet who enjoys a surgically focused caseload and approaches cases with a practical, medical mindset. You’ll be confident making evidence-based decisions and developing the most appropriate plan for each patient and client.
The position offers the chance to grow as a surgical leader while working alongside a team that values clear communication, practical medicine and well-structured treatment plans. As Team Leader, you’ll oversee key aspects of team management including recruitment, selection, mentoring and professional development. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be interacting with a diverse client base while also supporting and developing colleagues within the clinical team. Leading by example and sharing knowledge will be an important part of the role.
The position operates on a flexible shift pattern, with working hours between 8:30am and 8:00pm Monday to Friday. It also includes working approximately one weekend in every seven to eight weeks, with enhanced pay and time off in lieu provided. Along with many benefits the practice can offer a salary of up to £70,000k DOE.
