An incredibly rare opportunity has arisen to join a highly popular and established veterinary surgery in London. Applications are being welcomed for an experienced General Practitioner Vet with a medicine and ultrasound bias to join a tightly-knit, high-performing team. Positions at this practice very rarely become available due to the exceptional team culture and retention.
About the Practice & Location:
The practice is super well-equipped, featuring digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, an in-house lab, and more. The facilities include 4 consultation rooms, a dedicated theatre, a prep room, and separate dog and cat kennels and wards. Situated in a vibrant, highly desirable area of East London, the practice is surrounded by an abundance of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and diverse dining options right on the doorstep. Commuting is exceptionally easy, with multiple major overground and train stations close by, making access via bus, train, or tube completely hassle-free.
About the Role and Team:
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week over 4 days, with a 1:4 Saturday rota (with time off in lieu). You will be joining an incredible, collaborative team of 6 Vets holding various advanced certificates, supported by an amazing group of RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, and Receptionists. The leadership within the nursing team has been a cornerstone of the practice since its opening, with the majority of the team having worked alongside each other for the past 10 years, ensuring an incredibly supportive and smooth-running working environment.
About You (To be Considered):
You must be an experienced GP Vet with a strong bias and clinical interest in internal medicine and ultrasound. You should be a confident clinician looking to collaborate with other high-caliber certificate holders. You must possess excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset to fit into a long-standing, close-knit team culture. Valid RCVS registration is required.
