Looking for a Veterinary Surgeon role offering clinical autonomy, a varied caseload and a supportive team? This is an excellent opportunity to join an established small animal practice in Oxted, Surrey, where you can deliver high-quality patient care while continuing to develop your clinical interests.
The Role
You’ll join a busy first-opinion practice with a varied caseload, working alongside an experienced team and taking ownership of your patients’ care. The role offers the opportunity to use your clinical judgement, build strong client relationships and further develop your skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high standards of clinical care across consultations and surgery.
- Developing tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients.
- Managing cases and providing continuity of care for patients.
- Working collaboratively with the nursing and reception teams.
- Contributing to a positive team environment and sharing clinical knowledge.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical, regulatory and operational compliance.
The practice is well equipped with three consultation rooms, a dedicated theatre and dental suite, X-ray and ultrasound facilities.
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, with a set day off each week. The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital, alongside participation in the on-call and Bank Holiday rotas.
About You
You’ll be a qualified MRCVS with a passion for small animal practice, clinical excellence and client care. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team while having the confidence to manage your own cases and make sound clinical decisions.
