The practice has built a strong reputation for delivering compassionate, high-quality care, with a genuinely collaborative working environment and a real commitment to clinical excellence and team development.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time or part-time position (minimum 3 days per week), with no out-of-hours requirement. There is a Saturday morning rota included in the role. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and maintaining high clinical standards across the practice
  • Mentoring and developing the veterinary and nursing teams
  • Managing complex medical cases and a broad range of surgical procedures
  • Overseeing clinical governance and promoting best practice
  • Supporting practice performance, workflow and team development
  • Building strong, lasting client relationships
  • Working alongside the Practice Director to contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the practice

What They're Looking For

They are looking for a confident, experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for clinical excellence and team development. Previous leadership or mentoring experience is preferred, and candidates with a proven track record in commercial leadership are particularly encouraged to apply. Orthopaedic experience is desirable but not essential.
