An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, independent veterinary group in West London. This role offers excellent clinical support, modern facilities, and genuine career progression within a well-established small animal practice.
The practice is seeking a hands-on Veterinary Surgeon with at least one year of experience who is confident working both sole charge and collaboratively within a team environment. The successful candidate will be encouraged to work cases up fully while building strong, lasting relationships with clients.
- Full-time position within an independent small animal practice
- 4-day working week (9:00am – 7:00pm)
- 1:3 Saturday rota (9:00am – 5:00pm)
- No out-of-hours work – supported by a dedicated 24-hour hospital team
- Mix of sole charge and team-based clinical work
- Opportunity to manage and develop cases with senior vet support
- Flexibility available depending on the candidate
This independent, family-run veterinary group combines general practice, specialist, and emergency care to deliver gold-standard patient care. Supported by a central 24-hour veterinary hospital, the team benefits from access to advanced diagnostics, referral-level expertise, and certificate holders, allowing cases to be worked up thoroughly without external referral.
The practice is modern and well-equipped, creating an environment where vets can practise high-quality medicine with clinical support always close at hand.
About You
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1 year of UK experience
- Confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Comfortable with sole charge when required
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Self-motivated, proactive, and keen to help grow the practice within the local community
