Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for your next career step in a supportive, progressive small animal practice? This permanent opportunity offers a varied caseload, excellent clinical support, and real scope for development - all within a friendly, close-knit team.
The Role
- Permanent, full-time position (part-time considered)
- 4-day working week
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–12pm)
- No out-of-hours
- Mix of consultations and surgical work
- 20-minute consultations as standard
- Wide-ranging medical and surgical caseload, including complex and orthopaedic procedures
- Supported development of surgical skills and clinical interests
About You
You’ll be a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with strong communication skills and a proactive, patient-focused approach. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, be open to developing new skills, and be keen to deliver high-quality care across a varied caseload. Experience is preferred, but the practice offers excellent support for ongoing progression.
Team
Join a team of 4 vets, supported by 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 5 CCAs, and a Practice Manager. The team values strong communication, daily huddles, and a collaborative, supportive atmosphere. They see a wide range of medical and surgical cases. Their Partner has a post-graduate surgery certificate which offers our clients more in-house complex and orthopaedic surgeries, and opportunities for our Vets to develop their surgical skills. The surgery offers state of the art facilities including digital x-ray, digital endoscopes, ultrasound, lab and an array of surgical and orthopaedic equipment.
