Veterinary Surgeon – Maternity Cover | Nottingham
Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity in a supportive small animal practice? This maternity cover role in Nottingham offers a varied caseload, modern facilities, and a genuinely friendly team environment. Perhaps you'd like the stability of a stable income but have plans to move elsewhere, travel after savings or more! The role brings flexibility for future plans as well as stability.
The Role
- Fixed-term, 12 month Maternity Cover Veterinary Surgeon position
- Ideally start end of August time - however can be flexible with this
- Small Animal practice with a varied and interesting caseload
- Protected admin time
- Mix of consulting, routine surgery, and medical case work-ups
- Working 3–4 days per week (8:30am–6:00pm, paid until 6:30pm)
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30am–12:00pm)
- No out-of-hours
