An established, independent small animal practice in Surrey is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive and highly collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident vet looking to deliver high-quality clinical care while maintaining a strong work–life balance.
The practice benefits from close support from a nearby purpose-built hospital, offering access to advanced diagnostics and surgical facilities, making this an ideal role for vets who enjoy both routine and more complex cases.
The Role
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week
- 4-day working week (4 x 10-hour shifts)
- Shifts typically 8:30am–6:30pm with a paid lunch break
- 1:3/1:4 Saturdays (8am–4pm) with a weekday off in lieu
- No OOH or on-call
- Mix of consultations and surgery, with at least one surgery day per week
- Working alongside large dynamic vet team with lots of experience + RVNs and support staff
- Excellent facilities including ultrasound, dental X-ray, digital radiography, laser therapy and video otoscopy
About You
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident with routine consultations and surgery
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about animal welfare and client care
- GDP Advisor experience welcomed but not essential
