This is an exciting opportunity for two Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons to join a large, experienced, and highly collaborative hospital team.
The Role
- First-opinion Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon position
- Hospital-status practice with excellent facilities and case load
- Opportunities to tailor the role around your experience and interests
- One role suitable for a vet with advanced surgical/diagnostic experience and leadership aspirations
- Second role ideal for a vet seeking to be part of a skilled, supportive hospital team
- Involvement in clinical meetings, case discussions, and service development
- OOHs included but hybrid OOHs team in place, significantly reducing night workload
- OOHs contribution is negotiable
About You
You’ll be a Small Animal Vet who enjoys working as part of a large, experienced team and values collaboration, clinical discussion, and progressive practice. Whether you’re keen to advance into more complex procedures or simply want to deliver high-quality first-opinion care with excellent support, this role can be shaped around you.
The Practice & Team
- Large SA team of 19 Vets, 21 RVNs, and 3 SVNs
- Multiple certificate and diploma holders, with others currently studying
- Tier-1 hospital facilities including:
- Ultrasound & digital radiography
- Dentistry & endoscopy
- Advanced surgical facilities including laparoscopy
- ICU
- Fully equipped in-house laboratory with dedicated technicians
- Provides ophthalmology referral services to surrounding practices
- Weekly visiting Cert AVP (GSAS) for advanced orthopaedics
