The Role
The Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a key part in delivering excellent patient care across a range of clinical and nursing duties:
- Nurse consults and general patient care
- General anaesthetic monitoring and record keeping
- Supporting veterinarians in invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Conducting screening procedures and sample collection
- Administering treatments and maintaining accurate clinical notes
- Maintaining high standards of clinical hygiene and surgical room preparation
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with clinic operations
- Educating pet owners on routine and specialised care
The role may involve occasional shifts at other group clinics.
Who They’re Looking For
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
- Experience in nurse consults and GA monitoring
- Strong surgical etiquette and quarantine procedure knowledge
- Veterinary Nursing Degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Experience with practice management systems
