Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon Independent Practice | Wiltshire, UK
Salary up to £65,000 FTE (pro rata) | 2–3 days per week | No OOH
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a flexible, part-time role within a well-established independent practice in Wiltshire? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking group that has expanded over the years while maintaining excellent standards of care and strong continuity for clients and patients.
This role is based at one of the practice’s branch sites, offering autonomy alongside outstanding support from a central, state-of-the-art hospital.
The Role
- Part-time position: 2–3 days per week
- 8:30-7PM Shift Patterns
- Sole charge branch role, supported by a highly experienced RVN
- Mix of consulting and routine surgery
- No OOH and only occasional weekends
- Manage your own medical and surgical caseload
- Full support available at all times from vets at the main hospital and other branches for complex cases
Facilities & Clinical Support
As a branch vet, you’ll be fully supported by a modern referral-level hospital in Swindon, working closely with certificate holders in:
- Medicine
- Surgery
- Ophthalmology
- Diagnostic imaging
You’ll also have access to excellent facilities, including CT, allowing you to work cases up to a high clinical standard while maintaining independence day-to-day. There is also future opportunity for hospital exposure or to work towards a certificate, should that be of interest.
