Veterinary Surgeon – Hospital GP (Full-Time & Part-Time) £45,000 – £72,000 FTE (DOE)

Join a large, busy hospital environment with a high and varied caseload.

The Role

  • 2 positions available: 1 full-time (40 hours), 1 part-time (3 days / ~30 hours)
  • Mix of consulting, surgery, wards and ECC
  • Routine surgery (spays, dentals) + emergency case management
  • High imaging caseload with opportunity to develop ultrasound skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of clinical care
  • Manage medical and surgical cases
  • Follow RCVS and clinical guidelines
  • Work independently and as part of a large team
  • Maintain accurate diagnostics and treatment plans

Rota

  • 6-week rotation
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 1 in 6 Sundays
  • Up to 2 bank holidays per year
  • Included in last resort on-call rota
