What You’ll Do
Deliver first-opinion medical and surgical care across a varied and often complex caseload. Perform clinical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning aligned with patient needs and owner circumstances. Carry out routine and non-routine surgical procedures, with appropriate clinical support. Use evidence-based decision-making to balance best practice, welfare, and practical outcomes. Communicate realistic treatment options clearly and compassionately to clients. Work in line with RCVS standards, maintaining patient safety, pain management, and clinical documentation. Collaborate with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and wider hospital teams to ensure continuity of care. Contribute to case discussions, shared learning, and service development within the hospital.
