Are you looking to take the next step in your veterinary career at a truly independent, forward-thinking practice that values individuality, flexibility, and clinical freedom? GVC are working with a practice that are offering a Full or Part-Time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon role at their independent, single-site practice – a newly built, fully equipped facility designed to support high-quality care and a stress-free experience for both clients and pets.

What’s on offer:

  • Flexible working: 2–4 day working week, 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, no OOH or bank holidays
  • A modern working environment: digital x-ray, ultrasound, full lab, dental suite, separate dog/cat consults and kennels
  • Varied caseload with a balance of consulting and surgery
  • Protected admin time built into your rota
  • A welcoming, experienced team including 1.5 Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 receptionists and a Practice Manager
  • Supportive, non-corporate culture that gives you the space to grow your own clinical interests

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is RCVS registered (experience preferred, but not essential)
  • Communicates clearly and compassionately
  • Has a strong client focus and a drive to uphold high clinical standards
  • Enjoys being part of a close-knit team and wants to build lasting client relationships
  • Has an interest in behaviour or fear-free practice – or is open to exploring it

The Package:

  • Salary £35,000 – £70,000 depending on experience (pro-rata)
  • 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Generous CPD budget up to £1500 with support tailored to your career goals
