An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic in South Yorkshire. This is a great role for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their clinical skills within a high-level hospital environment, with exposure to both first-opinion and advanced cases.
The Practice
This long-standing hospital has been established for over 20 years and is recognised by the RCVS as an Outstanding Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic. The practice delivers 24/7 care to the local community and manages cases from start to finish under one roof.
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities, including:

CT scanner

Rigid and flexible endoscopy

Ultrasound
-
Advanced surgical and medical equipment
Clinical services include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, emergency and critical care, alongside a busy first-opinion caseload.
You will be joining a large, experienced clinical team, including 15 Veterinary Surgeons (with a dedicated OOH team), supported by a strong nursing and non-clinical team.

Candidate Requirements

RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Confident with routine medical and surgical cases
-
Interest in working up cases to a high clinical standard

Enjoys working as part of a large, collaborative hospital team
Working Hours
Flexible working patterns are available, including:

Full-time

Part-time

Weekend-only roles
All vets participate in the weekend rota:

1 in 2 weekends (full-time)

1 in 4 weekends (part-time)
