The Role: The Quality Assurance Manager is required to manage institutional wide quality assurance systems and processes to achieve and maintain standards of excellence, assure the academic quality and standards and drive through improvements across the College. The Quality Assurance Manager will support the Registrar in assuring the academic quality and standards of higher education in the college in line with partner and OfS requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure TLG’s provision meets the national Framework of Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) standards.
  • Implement quality assurance and enhancement procedures for higher education provision, adhering to partners' requirements.
  • Coordinate the annual reporting process with the Registrar and partners.
  • Ensure high-quality assessment processes throughout the assessment life cycle.
  • Monitor curriculum performance using quality information systems and key performance indicators.
  • Support academic faculty to drive improvements and secure outstanding student outcomes.
  • Ensure public information is accessible, accurate, and up to date.
  • Support annual monitoring, programme reviews, and validations of qualifications within TLG and validating partners.
  • Represent TLG with partners and external organisations, fostering a positive approach.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Higher Education.

  • Involvement in Validations and Periodic Programme Reviews.
  • Coordinating large events like Validations and Reviews.
