Position

The E-Learning Resource Coordinator will support the Learning and Teaching Technologist by managing digital resources, supporting staff in resource development, and ensuring the accessibility and functionality of digital learning platforms like Canvas and the UCA online library.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Manage access to the UCA online library, ensuring resources are current and aligned with curriculum needs.
  2. Coordinate with the Admin department to ensure Canvas courses and digital resources are organized and accessible.
  3. Audit blended learning materials for quality and pedagogical alignment.
  4. Publish digital learning materials according to the academic calendar.
  5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for digital learning tools.
  6. Develop and organize digital resources supporting the college\’s experiential learning approach.
  7. Collaborate with academic staff to identify resource needs and support their creation of digital materials.
  8. Create user guides and tutorials for digital resources.
  9. Deliver training sessions on digital resource creation and educational technologies.
  10. Gather user feedback and implement improvements.
  11. Stay updated on educational technology developments to inform best practices.
  12. Participate in college-wide digital learning initiatives.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned and promote health, safety, equality, and diversity policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor\’s degree in education, educational technology, information management, or related field.
  • Experience in digital resource management in higher education.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems, especially Canvas.
  • Experience in creating digital learning resources and supporting materials.
  • Knowledge of blended learning approaches and educational technology tools.
  • Experience providing technical support and training.

Desirable Experience

  • Postgraduate qualification in educational technology or related field.
  • Higher education teaching experience.
  • Multimedia content creation experience.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards.
