Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of campus goals and objectives.
- Oversee the safe running of the campus for all staff and students.
- Maintain and ensure adherence to college policies on health and safety, prevention, and safeguarding.
- Responsible for coordinating the first aider rota over the weekend.
- Evaluate campus operations and activities; recommend improvements and modifications; prepare various reports on operations and activities; recommend improvements in workflow, procedures, and the use of campus facilities, equipment, and other resources.
- Participate in planning activities; assist in developing, implementing, and assessing new programs and services; research, compile, analyse, and summarise data for special projects, programs, services, and various comprehensive reports.
- Oversee, coordinate, and assist in providing campus student services programs, including admissions and records, counselling/advising, financial aid, and student activities.
- Provide information regarding college policies, procedures, and processes to faculty, staff, and students.
- Assist in budget preparation and administration; prepare cost estimates for budget recommendations; submit justifications for budget items; monitor and control expenditures.
- Oversee complex clerical and technical assistance for the campus programs.
- Supervise, plan, prioritise, and evaluate the work of campus staff; coordinate workflow and activities among departments or offices; schedule coverage of activities; oversee campus activities to assure proper service levels.
- Supervise the development and implementation of internal and external communications.
- Participate in the selection, orientation, training, and evaluation of employees.
- Facilitate meetings and various events, including with external partners, where required.
- Coordinate activities with other departments, offices, students, the public, and outside agencies.
- Participate in activities that enhance the College's presence and brand reputation/brand awareness.
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
- Work with senior stakeholders to ensure operational compliance for the college/site over the weekend.
- Oversee effective communications with all stakeholders.
- Participate and contribute to Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings, as required by the Deputy Managing Director.
