We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Lecturer to join our Higher Education Services team. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning across designated programmes, supporting student engagement and achievement, and contributing to academic excellence within an online learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Design and deliver engaging learning materials.
- Facilitate online teaching and provide academic guidance.
- Uphold institutional quality standards.
- Set, mark, and provide constructive feedback on assessments.
- Supervise student projects and dissertations.
- Monitor student progress using learner analytics.
- Identify and respond to individual learner needs.
- Contribute to internal quality assurance and enhancement processes.
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
What you bring to the table:
- A PhD, Master's degree, or substantial industry experience in a relevant subject area.
- Experience teaching within the UK Higher Education sector.
- Proven subject-specific teaching experience (HR, Finance, or Strategy).
- Eligibility for Fellowship of AdvanceHE (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and digital teaching skills.
- A clear commitment to student success and engagement.
- Experience delivering online teaching and learning.
- Experience supervising research projects or dissertations.
- Relevant industry or professional experience.
