ROLE MISSION

Our client is seeking fresh creative thinkers that operate in the digital world, to lead the amplification of iconic whisky brands through their global social channels with community management and support of our in-house creative studio. The person in this role will liaise between the brand and studio teams, requiring creative thinking, organisational excellence, digital savviness & cultural nous.

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Brand and/or agency experience in social media for B2C brands
  • A strong knowledge of social media channels, social culture, digital creativity and editorial marketing
  • Excellent organisation skills with experience overseeing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver creative output to a high standard and against a deadline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluent English language
  • Familiarity working with CMS platforms and social insights tools
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud is advantageous
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter who can equally manage multiple stakeholders in a large organisation

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Channel & Community management - (FB, TW, IG, YT, Pinterest) + General Housekeeping; pro-active and reactive engagement with audiences, UGC, publishing/management of content calendars, asset overview docs.
  • Insights Reporting - Comfortable working with data insight to refine content plans. Setting and monitoring KPIs, tracking performance metrics, and being agile in optimising our content output accordingly.
  • Content Toolkit Deployment – supplying creative assets and social recommendations to markets.
  • Outreach - Champion the brand and its teams. Keep an eye on market, competitors, trends/insights to feed into overarching social strategy, social media updates, etc.
  • Ownership & Control – Proactively coming up with original, creative ways to translate big brand ideas into ongoing, social-savvy content themes and community engagement concepts for digital.
  • Attendance - Be part of weekly client digital team catch-ups. Liaising with internal Media team to implement the paid strategy monthly. Receiving and developing quarterly social briefs from brand teams. Assisting production of quarterly social photos/short video/GIFs, contributing to ideation, brand ownership (look/feel/TOV). Working alongside OLIVER digital designers, film production teams, external agencies and co-creators where needed to meet objectives & deadlines agreed with Brand team.
  • Passion for creative ideation and content creating that makes people want to engage and share.
  • Copywriting Skills: Short (posts across all channels) + Long form; Can interpret a brand’s visual TOV and assets into new interesting formats. Long Form: Blog writing (and uploads via the CMS). Web articles and CRM content. Close collaboration with SEO partner and writing with SEO in mind.
  • Digital (supported by IT & CMS team) Content management and CMS upload eCRM plans.
