We are looking for a dependable, proactive, and customer-focused Onsite Workplace Engineer to join our IT support team within a financial services environment.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide reliable day-to-day support for employees, reduce technology-related disruptions, and ensure the digital workplace operates smoothly. The successful candidate will not only respond to technical issues but will also identify and resolve potential problems before they affect users or business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across a modern Windows environment, including Windows 10/11, Office 365, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft AutoPilot.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, printers, meeting-room AV systems, and other workplace peripherals.
- Manage support cases with hardware manufacturers such as Lenovo, Dell, and HP, coordinating replacement parts, technician visits, and laptop repairs through to completion.
- Provide professional, responsive, and discreet white-glove IT assistance to executives and senior leadership.
- Identify potential technology issues and resolve them before they impact employees or business operations.
- Prepare, configure, deploy, and maintain employee devices using Microsoft Intune and AutoPilot.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in end-user IT support and enterprise endpoint management.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows 10/11 enterprise environments, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft AutoPilot, meeting-room and AV technologies, networked printers and workplace peripherals.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in London, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
- Commitment to a minimum two-year long-term project.
