Appeon PowerBuilder and Microsoft .NET , running on
Oracle and Tibero databases . Key Requirements The successful candidate will have: 3+ years' experience with Oracle PL/SQL , including database development and design. Strong logical and analytical
problem-solving skills . A customer-focused approach, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and concisely to clients. 1+ years' Microsoft .NET development experience , ideally with VB.NET or C#, including web services and XML. Knowledge or understanding of
ERP, Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Management
systems. Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to clearly document processes and technical information. The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. A confident, professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities As a Technical Support Consultant, you will: Work within the company's support and development environment, collaborating closely with the Operations Director. Respond to incoming customer emails and calls, investigating and resolving reported technical issues. Use your application and database expertise to diagnose problems and deliver effective solutions. Develop new
PL/SQL procedures and packages
to enhance the functionality and customer experience of the software. Work closely with the Product Director to translate new product requirements into clear technical specifications for the development team. Undertake smaller development changes and enhancements using your
Microsoft .NET skills
