Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-user devices, including hardware and software issues.
- Manage and support Windows 10/11 environments and related software and applications.
- Support and troubleshoot mobile devices, particularly BlackBerry and iPhones.
- Build, configure, replace, and troubleshoot EUC (End User Computing) hardware components.
- Perform data backup and recovery tasks.
- Work within virtual, MDM (Mobile Device Management), and VPN environments.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure clear, effective communication with end users.
- Adhere to ITIL processes and work within an ITIL environment.
Skillset required:
- Task support, incident support
- Servicenow updates
- Good general understanding of IT principles such as Networks, Hardware and Domains
- Working knowledge of leading software packages such as MS Office and Lotus Notes
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and related software and applications
- Good experience in End User device hardware and software troubleshooting
- Knowledge of mobile devices, in particular Blackberry and iPhones
- Experience with building, configuring, replacing and troubleshooting EUC hardware components
- Good Experience in Data Backup Techniques
- Familiarity with virtual, MDM and VPN environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM would be advantageous
- CompTIA A+, MCP/MCSE are desirable certifications
- DELL Certification desirable
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience of working within an ITIL environment would be beneficial
