L2 Desktop support
contract: 12 month FTC
salary: Up to £35,000p/a
Working days: Monday to Friday
Location: West Sussex
We have an exciting opportunity to bring on board a new engineer for a duration of 12 months FTC.
The ideal candidate should possess the necessary knowledge and experience to excel in this role. Their primary responsibility will be to provide hands-on support for the end-user technology environment and associated field devices. The technologies involved include the Microsoft productivity suite, desktop/laptop hardware, client-installed applications, meeting rooms, and video conferencing.
The candidate should demonstrate expertise in the installation, configuration, administration, patching, upgrading, and problem resolution across a range of technologies, including
- Microsoft Windows environments (Win7, 10, 11)
- Active Directory
- DNS and DHCP services
- Configuration Management (SCCM)
- Microsoft Exchange (2010, 2016)
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft365
A good understanding of core network principles, end-user software installation, software life cycle management, managed print services, and audio/visual/meeting environments is essential. Additionally, working knowledge of asset management is required.
