Are you a skilled Fire Protection Engineer with experience in fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and fire safety compliance? We are hiring for an exciting field service role covering the M4/M5 corridor.
Job Overview:
- Location: Swindon & M4/M5 Corridor (Field-Based)
- Salary: £33,000 - £39,000 per annum + Benefits
- Hours: Monday to Friday (Office Hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Installation: Commissioning, installing, and upgrading conventional, addressable, and wireless fire alarm systems.
- Routine Maintenance & Servicing: Ensuring fire alarm, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers are fully operational.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Responding to reactive calls for fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Site Assessments & Compliance Checks: Conducting inspections for fire safety compliance (FIA/NICEIC standards).
- Technical Support & Customer Service: Providing expert support and advice to clients.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years experience in fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
- Strong knowledge of FIA / NICEIC compliance standards.
- Experience with fire alarm installation & servicing (conventional, addressable, wireless systems).
- Ability to service fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
- Full, clean UK driving license (Field-Based Role).
- Excellent problem-solving and report-writing skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a "can-do" attitude.
