Management Accountant Wilmslow £30,000£35,000 + Study Support Hybrid working | Three days per week on site We are partnering with a successful and growing global technology services organisation to appoint an ambitious part-qualified or finalist-level Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond routine accounting and develop into a commercially minded finance professional. You will work closely with an experienced Finance Director who will provide hands-on mentoring, exposure to senior stakeholders and support towards completing your professional qualification. The role You will take ownership of a broad range of management accounting responsibilities, including: Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and journals Producing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the month-end close Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning Preparing variance analysis and providing clear commentary on performance Supporting cash-flow reporting and working-capital management Partnering with stakeholders across the business to improve financial understanding Helping to develop management information, reporting and financial controls Supporting audit requirements and wider finance projects Identifying opportunities to improve and automate existing processes As your experience develops, you will gain increasing exposure to commercial finance, business partnering and senior-level reporting.
