We’re a fast-paced, innovative training provider working across nine regulated sectors, including foster care, children’s homes, leaving care, adult social care, and education. Our training empowers professionals to support children and vulnerable adults, driving meaningful outcomes while helping organisations stay compliant and grow.

We’re seeking a Business Development Consultant to join our growing team. This is a telephone-based role, ideally based in Manchester (hybrid working considered).

  • Sourcing and engaging new contacts within local authorities and private sector organisations to identify key decision-makers responsible for training.
  • Contacting and converting organisations with non-paid trial accounts into active, paying customers.
  • Discussing training needs in a consultative manner to provide tailored solutions.
  • Building and managing a strong sales pipeline across multiple regulated sectors.
  • Accurately maintaining outreach records, conversations, and opportunities in the CRM.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • High volume of quality outbound dials to targeted contacts.
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders across local authorities and private providers.
  • Passionate about social impact and improving outcomes for children and vulnerable adults.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable delivering online demonstrations (training provided).

Previous experience in a business development, sales, or consultative B2B role. Confidence in delivering online demos and presentations. Experience working with or selling into local authorities or regulated sectors is an advantage.
