Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, where you will be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will be working as part of a team and independently in a 19-story office building in downtown Cleveland, where lots of potential for client interaction exists and a professional attitude and good customer service are required. The candidate will be provided with a parking pass to park in the parking garage at no charge.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner
- Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance
- Respond to work orders

Education Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma
- Any applicable certifications are a plus
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of job-related maintenance experience
- In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered

- Drywall patching/painting
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
