This is one for the SAP HR people who enjoy figuring out what should happen next before everyone disappears into delivery mode and starts building things. I’m supporting a client on a Phase Zero programme ahead of an ECC6 to S/4HANA transformation, with SuccessFactors sitting at the centre of the HR landscape. This isn’t a “come in and configure stuff” role. You’ll be helping assess the current setup, understand where the pain points are, map out how HR should operate moving forward, and make sure the integration approach between SuccessFactors, Payroll and S/4HANA actually makes sense. The S/4HANA HR footprint itself is expected to be fairly lean. The interesting bit here is the integration architecture and the future state thinking around it.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing the current HR landscape across SuccessFactors and EC Payroll
- Identifying pain points, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Mapping integrations between HR systems and S/4HANA
- Supporting the future-state roadmap and capability assessment
- Helping shape the change, training, and implementation approach
What you’ll need:
- Strong SAP HR / SuccessFactors experience
- Good understanding of EC Payroll and HR integrations into S/4HANA
- Comfort operating at architecture / roadmap level
- Experience working on discovery, assessment, or Phase Zero work
- Ability to bring structure and clarity without making things complicated
Rate on this one is £600-700 per day (outside IR35) depending on experience. It’ll run from late May/ early June to the end of July (good chance of extension) and there’s minimal UK travel.
