Are you a Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Specialist looking to join a dynamic and collaborative team? We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Diplomate to join our growing imaging team at a well-established referral hospital in Wiltshire. About Us
Our hospital is a small, friendly, and multi-disciplinary environment where we pride ourselves on teamwork and achieving the best possible outcomes for our patients. The diagnostic imaging team currently consists of one radiographer, three imaging nurses, a diagnostic imaging diplomate, one resident, and one intern. We are looking to expand our team with another diagnostic imaging diplomate to support the growth and development of our imaging services. We work closely with specialists in medicine, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, cardiology, anaesthesia, and our emergency and critical care teams. Our hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including:
- Phillips 1.5T MRI
- GE 64-slice CT
- Phillips Epic 7G Ultrasound
- C-arm fluoroscopy
- Two X-ray rooms with direct radiography
Additionally, we frequently support interventional procedures carried out by surgical and cardiology teams, offering the chance to learn and read less common studies.
The Role
This is a part-time position, based on two 9‑hour days, one of which can be worked from home. The role also involves participating in our on‑call rota (1 in 8), with time off in lieu and additional pay for out‑of‑hours work. We are flexible and open to considering candidates who wish to work a smaller portion of a full‑time schedule. About You
We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with Diplomate status (or equivalent) in veterinary diagnostic imaging. You should be comfortable working in a multi‑disciplinary setting, with a passion for providing high‑quality diagnostic services and the desire to share knowledge and collaborate with your colleagues.
