The role involves assisting in leading an exciting kitchen operation at a rapidly growing restaurant and bars client on the West coast. The Sous Chef will deliver popular fresh menus and help lead the brigade in a successful award-winning business.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience of producing fresh quality food to a minimum 1 rosette culinary level standard, as well as experience in volume restaurants or similar. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with senior department heads and wider business teams.
The Sous Chef must possess strong culinary abilities and effective management skills within the kitchen environment. Experience in ordering processes, stock control measures, health and safety legislative requirements, COSHH, RIDDOR, and training and mentoring team members is required.
