The opportunity: Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with a leading Restaurant dining experience set in the heart of one of Edinburgh's busiest high streets. Our client is looking for a new Restaurant Manager for this stunning venue, to drive, nurture and support the F&B operations and the diverse team across this popular award-winning site.
The role: The Restaurant Manager will lead operations across the private dining, outside summer terrace, and beautiful restaurant areas. Supporting a dedicated team across the venue, the role is to ensure that the quality delivery of guest food and drink experiences are consistently maintained and delivered at all times. You will be comfortable in being customer facing and assist in leading the F&B operations by example. Possessing an eye for detail, quality and remembering the established repeat custom/regulars, while being alive to maximising commercial opportunities. You will manage the staff across the front of house areas as required, while working in harmony with the talented Kitchen team. A sound understanding of stock controls, cellar management, health & safety, training of colleagues, consistent development of service standards, order of service SOPs, and possessing a good understanding of quality wines & spirits are pre-requisite qualities for this growing reputable business.
