The role: Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with our rapidly growing Scottish Restaurant client who are looking for new Operations Support Chefs to come in at Head Chef level across their well-positioned venues on the East side of the Scotland central belt. Our growing client is recruiting for Head Chef level candidates to lead and join their exciting area support Kitchens operations. You will also be helping with pre-openings of new sites, with implementation of the menus, training the team, with this award-winning brand.
The person: Our passionate client at Global Talent 2020 is looking for a real leader in the kitchen, someone who will harness the talent of the teams, be adaptive, utilise the venues' fantastic kitchen facilities to their advantage, providing consistent, memorable popular food experiences for its customer bases. The ideal Operational Support Chef candidate must have had prior experience of producing fresh quality food, to a minimum 1 rosette culinary level standard, and had experience of a volume high street restaurant on their CV. You will need to be highly approachable with your personality, as you will be interacting with other senior company heads, the customers, and with all levels of the site's diverse teams.
Our client requires an ideal Head Chef that is keen to train, coach, mentor their venues teams, evolve the fresh food services, deliver consistent quality menus, daily seasonal specials, innovative food concepts, and further the reputation of the award-winning business in the East of Scotland marketplace. As the Operational Support Chef, you must be proven to be a flexible leader, highly adaptive in all your approaches to where you work, and also comfortable with delivery of casual dining, fresh concepts developed by the company Head of Food.
As Operational Support Chef, you must also be someone that not only has strong all-round culinary abilities, possess great presentation skills, but be someone that also is an effective manager of the kitchen environment, health, and safety, COSHH, RIDDOR, recruitment trials, and possess strong cost & budgetary control skill sets of their area.
