The Integrated Business Planning Lead runs the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process across our global data centre portfolio bringing demand, supply, finance and strategy together into one clear, executive-ready view. This highly visible, cross-functional role sits at the heart of commercial, operational and financial decision-making. You’ll report to the COO, work closely with global leadership, and turn insight into action that strengthens governance and performance across every site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the IBP rhythm: Run the monthly cycle (Demand Review, Supply & Capacity Review, Integrated Reconciliation, Executive IBP), preparing executive-level materials on trends, risks, constraints and decisions.
- Facilitate and challenge: Lead senior sessions, pressure-test assumptions, and drive scenario-based planning that accelerates better decisions.
- Raise the data bar: Ensure integrity across CRM, capacity tools, dashboards and financial models; continuously lift IBP maturity, governance and automation.
- Align demand and supply: Partner with Sales, Commercial, Product and Marketing to turn pipeline into structured demand scenarios; align bookings, renewals, churn and expansions to operational and capital capacity.
- Plan realistic delivery: Work with Operations, Engineering and Construction to validate capacity against real-world constraints (power, build schedules, lead times, permitting).
- Integrate with finance: Reconcile IBP outputs with budgets, forecasts, pricing, contract terms and cost assumptions; support margin, cost-to-serve and profitability analysis.
- Lead portfolio scenarios: Maintain a portfolio-wide view of live, in-flight and future assets; model scenarios on capacity triggers, CAPEX sequencing, deal impacts, demand volatility and construction risk with clear recommendations.
- Drive site governance: Own the performance rhythm; scorecards, site reviews, leadership forums and action tracking, and embed COO priorities consistently across regions.
About You:
You are a commercially minded planner who brings structure to complexity, blending strong IBP/S&OP discipline with the curiosity to continuously improve how decisions get made. You’re highly analytical but just as strong in a room of senior stakeholders, able to simplify data into insight, challenge assumptions, and hold leaders to account with confidence and clarity. You build trust quickly, communicate with impact, and thrive in cross-functional environments where aligning demand, supply, finance and capacity requires both technical rigour and exceptional influencing skills. Above all, you’re proactive, collaborative, and motivated by turning well-run processes into better business outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven background in IBP/S&OP or enterprise planning, ideally in asset-heavy, capital-intensive environments (data centres, energy, engineering, infrastructure).
- Working knowledge of an IBP framework (or equivalent best-practice methodology).
- Strong financial acumen linking operational plans to budgets/forecasts; confident with scenario modelling and data storytelling.
- Advanced stakeholder management and facilitation skills with executive audiences; comfortable constructively challenging senior leaders.
- Strategic, commercially aware, highly organised and detail-oriented; collaborative and influential across global teams.
