The Role

We are seeking professional, accredited Explosive Detection Dog Handlers to support our expanding portfolio across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of systematic explosive detection searches.
  • Accurately identify, assess and report potential threats.
  • Maintain the operational readiness, welfare and performance of your detection dog.
  • Engage professionally with client, staff and the public to provide reassurance and represent our company in a calm, approachable and customer-focused manner.

Candidates

We are looking for dog handlers who are:

  • Well-presented, professional, and client-focused.
  • Diligent and reliable with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Physically fit and confident operating under scrutiny in high-profile environments.

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence.
  • NASDU Level 4 EDD Certificate (including Team Up certification) and/or NCTAS-P Explosives Detection Dog Team Accreditation.
  • Five‑year checkable work history (BS:7858 standard).
  • Suitable vehicle for deployment (BS:8517 standard).
  • All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and fit for work.
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
