Manager - Project Management in Stockport

About the Role

This role sits at the centre of some of North Europe's most important projects, turning ambitious ideas into clear plans and keeping teams moving towards delivery. It is part of the General Management & Business Development team and is based at the Stockport head office, a hub for over 350 adidas employees across Brand Marketing, Commercial and Business support functions. The role manages a portfolio of high-profile projects, bringing structure where there is complexity and giving senior stakeholders the clarity they need to make decisions. Success means managing projects well, identifying risks, bringing people together, delivering outcomes and continuously finding smarter, simpler ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of priority projects from definition through to delivery, converting strategic goals into practical plans, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Manage a portfolio of high-profile projects, bringing structure where there is complexity and giving senior stakeholders clarity to make decisions.
• Bring the right people together across Sales, Brand, Finance, Business Development, Insights and other functions, creating momentum and shared accountability.
• Keep leaders close to what matters by providing concise, decision-ready updates on progress, risks, dependencies, choices and next steps.
• Spot delivery challenges early, work through ambiguity and help teams resolve issues before they affect the outcome.
• Improve how projects are run by introducing simple, consistent ways of working and using AI and digital tools to reduce administration and strengthen decision-making.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• A strong passion for the adidas brand and products is essential.
• A proven track record of leading complex projects and translating broad business priorities into clear delivery plans.
• Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and communicate recommendations clearly.
• A practical, hands-on approach: able to create structure, manage risks and dependencies, and keep multiple workstreams moving without adding unnecessary process.
• Curiosity about better ways of working, including how AI and digital tools can simplify project delivery and improve decisions.
