About the Role
Virgin Active is seeking three Junior Activities Assistants to join its Family Activities Team. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, and involves creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive while their parents enjoy the club. The postholder will build positive relationships with children and families, deliver engaging activities, and help create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support children at all times, maintaining vigilant oversight.
- Ensure the Club V environment is safe, attractive and welcoming for all children.
- Adhere to all company and government policies and procedures.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Deliver engaging activities.
- Help create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable.
- Support both staff and members, building effective relationships with parents and caregivers.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2/3 qualification in a child-related field; Health and Social Care does not cover the required qualification.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Friendly, calm and approachable nature.
- Ability to act quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to support both staff and members.
- Ability to build effective relationships with parents and caregivers.
- Team player with the drive to inspire and motivate others.
Salary
- £12.71—£12.71 GBP
